Traditionally, indica is described as relaxing and body-focused, sativa as uplifting and heady, with hybrids in between. In reality, effects are driven more by a strain's cannabinoid and terpene profile than by the label — treat it as a loose guide, not a guarantee.
Look for a frosty coat of trichomes, a loud aroma, firm-but-springy buds, clean hand-trim, and recent packaged/harvest dates. Dry, crumbly, hay-smelling flower has usually lost its terpenes.
Not necessarily. THC drives intensity, but the experience comes from the whole terpene and cannabinoid profile. A well-grown 20% strain often beats a harsh, rushed 28% one — buy on nose and cure, not just the number.
Cool, dark, and airtight — an opaque glass jar is ideal, with a humidity pack around 58–62% RH. Avoid heat, light, and plastic baggies, which dry flower out and strip terpenes.
Properly stored, dried flower stays good for roughly six months to a year. It won't become unsafe, but potency and especially terpenes fade over time — sooner is better.
Smalls are smaller, popcorn-sized buds of the same flower, sold cheaper because they look less impressive. The cannabinoid and terpene content is usually identical — one of the best value plays on a deals site.
